They actually failed to pay taxes in 1983 as well according to the follow up article below. 2 years later in 2017 the County reversed the sale voting 7-4 against “these out of town speculators trying to make a big payday” and for the fine people of their district. https://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/SF-supervisors-to-vo... well if the county sups could unravel it then the rules have certainly changed from my days of buying CA tax sales in the 60 70s and 80s.. once they went to bid 4 assets and away from the live auction the screaming deals were done.

It's winter, hard to find tenants. the last thing we want is bad tenants who don't pay, though, so while it is listed a bit lower than market it is not a screaming bargain.

Bloody oath I do mate.It's never their fault and always yours (Ours).They rarely take any responsibility and cry victim.It's crazy to think but it's like many intentionally look for drama and deep down inside don't want success but rather problems.Someone to dislike and blame and to feel wronged by.All other personal and "at home" issues can now be blamed on this one unfortunate scenario.This "drama" per se is like food for the hungry and they need such drama in life to "survive".My apologies if my above comments sound weird as they are more so from a philosophical standpoint and just some thoughts that I have considered after 5,000+ investor intro calls and as you have mentioned, others feeling wronged by me or my company on many occasions.What a $#@% way to live IMO but I don't judge and sleep in peace.Again, I have been "wronged" by many but consider it my own fault.I also don't call them out publicly or post bad reviews, etc...

Just like going to a doctor and them saying "this is gonna hurt", you do not like them telling you, but i would rather be told them have them do it and me scream WTF that hurt, why did you not tell me.The other area where people can overcome this is by actually managing the asset and portfolio and showing your investors that.
