Anybody else concerned about the future of commercial real estate with the coming robotics and AI?

AI is good for a first draft of things, not for widespread usage.People are looking to use AI to move quicker, but it only makes you or your product more robotic (artificial intelligence and such).

If there loan origination/underwriting process is robotic, expect a robotic loan administration process more times than not (which is generally a bad borrowing experience, particularly if there's adversity).  

ROBOT VOICE: The HELOC method isn't a magic way to save on interest.

I went through the training module and didn't see that as a submittable claim, but it's a good question - I'll have to ask my rep about that.  

Of course there are always headwinds, but emerging tech such as nano, robotics, AI, bio, alt fuel, etc. still have an outsized footprint here, and will still be a powerful driver. 20 years from now, who the hell knows, but for the next 10-15 my bet is still on SF. 

I would imagine the bigger loan origination companies out there who underwrite like robots because they are lining up the sale before closing  will be the exception and require those docs up front. 

Different submittal process, different scheduling of inspectors, different process with the inspection.  

Maybe Elon's robot will do free repairs, handle collections, touch up paint scratches, plunge toilets, and all the other headaches we deal with in real estate investing.
