If your not willing to rip out wooden floors then you may try a strong cleaner with special enzymes for breaking down the smell.

Remove and replace any saturated flooring and subfloor, use enzyme solution in areas you are not removing, use an ozone machine liberally, and Kilz any remaining subfloor before replacing.

I use RTAs from Kitchen Cabinet Kings.Flush hot water heater between tenantsUse drain enzyme to clean out drains between tenants to clean old plumbing lines.Use a powdered boric acid based bug killer before tenants move in to keep bugs in check.Use stainless steel and ceramic for sinks.

Some roaches realize an enzyme when they die that triggers other around them to breed.You'll want to find a bate product which they will eat, take back to their dwelling, and kill their entire family LOLThese are actually more environmentally friendly as well.

Most posters say to use oil based Kilz, but are you also using some sort of enzyme odor remover prior to this?
