I was told this is the way.However, on a property that I bought 2 years ago, the mortgage note says that if I transfer the deed over to LLC without their permission, they may demand full payment of the loan immediately.I am now trying to get them to give me something in writing that it is okay to transfer the deed to LLC.As for insurance, my broker says the LLC cant be the policy holder, otherwise, lender will foreclose on me.

Or Another strategy I heard is you get another policy with the name of your LLC/trust as the primary policyholder, identifying the mortgage company as well, then adding the seller as an additional holder.

If they do find out you can always deed it back to the original entity to avoid the due on sale.Make sure you make sure the insurance has the original entity/owner on the policy as the policyholder or additional insured so that doesn't trigger the due on sale when sent to the lender

This discrepancy was not previously recognized by myself or the mortgage lender until I received correspondence from my lender indicating that the insurance policy holder's name must match the property owner, in this case, my Ilc.

Steadily operates an agency but they're mainly an MGA writing their own product.We work with that product and like it.However, I believe it's better to work with an agency that is totally independent and especially one where a knowledgeable agent isn't going to "mistakenly" write a worthless policy and leave it up to the policy holder to catch it after the fact.
