I would still need to subscribe to a streaming service for cable tv, so cost savings wouldnt be much (or a wash), but otherwise it seems like it might be a viable alternative?

They are always leased here even for the corporate stations where they have a convenience store, a Popeyes or the like and a car wash.

Generally there are multiple units for each "zone" if you will when I've seen them installed.Regarding your problem at hand, I personally would simply adjust your plan to move and make your initial plan to get the current issues resolved, while costly now, in the long run holding onto the unit will likely pay off.

We are in Tampa so a similar market.We provide a starter set which is clearly communicated to guests (thought some people do not like it and clearly do not read which you cannot help) generally consisting of:- 2 Laundry Pods- 2 Dishwasher pods- 2 Rolls of Toilet Paper per bathroom- 2 Paper Towel Rolls- 2 Trashbags- All soaps are refillable including dish soap, hand soap, and body washes/shampoos.They are expected to get their own should they run out of anything.

Primarily desert washes, but also near a creek....So I would go knock on doors and ask neighbors when it has flooded and what they think about the area......maybe call the County water board and ask then what has happened there in the past.
