There is a lot of misconceptions still, about what it is, how it is mined and how it could penetrate daily lives even more than the internet did and does. 100k is the low end...Mcafee ( the security software guy) is a coin miner and says that he bets bitcoin hits 1 million by 2020 or he will eat his own private parts.

This is a big misconception by investors, thinking they can collect what it sells at auction or even better, that if they are owed $100k and the house is $1M that they will get a $1M home.

I think this is a big misconception with laundromats, and even other small businesses.

There are so many misconceptions about what a property management company "should do"  The fact is, if it isn't in the management agreement, they aren't responsible to do it.I agree if they're not being truthful about contacting the electrician etc that doesn't foster trust in the relationship.

I was able to get in at a lower cost basis, and the property didn't cash flow while I was living there (this is a common misconception with house hacking) but I lived almost for free - Only had to kick in a few hundred bucks a month.
