I was laid off by a big PM company and prior to being hired by that company I had already made it a goal to open my own some day.

We've been continuously improving it, but it has been working exceptionally well for us since we hired a developer for the complete build-out a year ago.

Instead of a custodian/administrator, find a facilitator (i.e. a third-party administrator).

If you talked to attorneys, why aren't you hiring them and following their advice?
