@Faisal Sami was right in that labor rates are not same in all neighborhoods and this makes sense...Its like saying that labor costs for fixing a BMW headlamps should be same as that for VW bug...its not.

I have a solar charger that is pocket sized and keeps 4 AA's charged, good for my stove and an LED headlamp.

I ended up crawling around under the building to run a condensate line (he didn't know about heat pump water heaters) and there was racoon poop everywhere and my borrowed headlamp went out and I was at the property for 4 hours and and and... 

After painting my house mainly by headlamp, it was a great time to replace some of the light fixtures.I remember moving into my house and my first night sleeping in it.

A good headlamp and portable work lights also helped a lot.

Then you have your general tools like a vice grip, hammer, channel locks, flashlight, tape measure, composite shims, headlamp, box cutter with extra blades, painter's tool 5-1, wire stripper, allen wrenches, voltage detector, outlet tester, lineman's pliers, good Milwaukee demo screwdrivers, Milwaukee 11-1 with Phillips, flat heads, and 3-4 common size nuts(this is great for appliances).

Be sure to take a head lamp for cave exploration.  

I bring a tyvec suit, gloves, headlamp, and check them out myself.

Maybe you could do it right and offer them the cool headlamps that campers use.
