I also don't like the sardine effect where your just packed in a building, ocean lakes is tight with homes but still feels private at the house(s), golf cart community and 2 min from the ocean on a golf cart where ours are.

The community has its own internal lake, which connects to Lake Toho, via a boat lift owned by the community club.

Bandon in particular has a very strong trajectory due to the ever expanding reputation of Bandon Dunes Golf Course as a worldwide attraction. - Florence, Lakeside, Yachats - This is fairly accessible region through Eugene and also offers spectacular landscapes and amenities.

I'm now nearly two years with the club.

Sapphire is much more of a vacation home community.The deciding factor for me was that Sapphire and Cashiers don't have a lot to do, except for golf and hiking.

It stays booked in the summer and is quiet in winter (cannot use the lake, community pool, community golf course, etc).
