This is the value of having someone who has local experience.The company you said, if they are some "remote" company, I guess they could provide the things that you need and save money, but I would hesitate to feel confident if they do not have regional experience and that you would be left vulnerable if issues arise with the design later on. 

Why they need to inspect the interior when the exterior is pristine remains a mystery, but we don’t make the rules.

If it is a high-end project, I would spend on an actual lIcensed designer.

If a Designer or Contractor is proposing to remove a wall and does not think to check the structural integrity of said wall, then they are no one you should be dealing with.

If anyone needs a GC once the designs are done I can build/renovate the project.

Mostly all cosmetic including exterior.

Great interior pictures and someone does a drive by and exterior is in poor shape, no one in buying it.

I just got a monthly plan for 2 exterior cameras and one interior camera with motion sensors for our project that is 1200 sq.ft costing $65 bucks a month.

Should I work with a local Architect to design from scratch?
