The move took us out to Fair Oaks which creates a very questionable timeline when you carpool with the wife and child to get back downtown for a 6:15 meetup time :(.

One of my options for tenants is to respond to other students looking for a place to live and say "Hey, I just moved into this great fourplex and I think one of the other units is available... " If they don't have a vehicle we could work out a carpool situation.

My parents live in woodland and drive to slo to visit me and my freshman sister at poly maybe you can carpool :)

For millenials or tech workers, it's probably important to be around BART and/or casual carpool to get into the city.  

People usually carpool to work, they all leave the house at the same time. 

But the ferry is too expensive for them (Vallejo has a very active casual carpool though.
