Looking to remove knee wall and carpet from staircase and add stained treads, handrail, balusters, etc.

Very easy to clean and it still looks pretty good instead of flat or matte sheens.

You could put wall to wall carpet on the second floor with a thick pad, or you could put a suspended ceiling on the first floor and put in rock wool above the suspended ceiling.
