I on one hand focus on local politics, because I can have a relationship with my state senator, assembly person, mayor and city council people. 

Not sure how other states was during the election, but one of the candidates running for senator here in Ohio ran on his campaign of cracking down on “predatory landlords”.

For the last 20 years the Federal Reserve's dual mandate has been to prop up both the SP 500 and the Nasdaq, not its purported goal to maintain price stability and maximize employment. 5 days ago a collection of Democratic senators wrote a letter haranguing Jerome Powell and asking him to cut by 75 basis points.

For this fine piece of legislation, designed to stop money laundering thank Senators Warren and Sanders.   

It's in senate right now and if it passes, bonus depreciation goes back up to 100%.

But since you keep mentioning the issue with Boeing, I will note that the Youtube video I posted is not a media article, it consists of clips of the footage of the US Senate hearing, where US Senators asked questions and Boeing CEO "answered" them (I added quotation marks, because he had no answers for most of the questions, including why Boeing sent US Senate papers with gibberish all over them instead of the production documents that they were required to). 

A few connections who frequent the state senate have said that there is work underway to get this under control.
