I own a lakefront resort with 6 rental cabins + the innkeeper's house + boat dock on 10 acres in a popular vacation area.

Don't know how that gets you paid.Do you have the right to seize personal property, as an innkeeper may here?

We reminded ourselves of our main goal: We are getting in the STR industry to have a passive income to help build wealth in an appreciating home (hopefully), not to become hoteliers/innkeepers/PMs/hosts. 

We sometimes act like innkeepers and I have teammates who bake cookies on their own for some of the tenants.We are fair but we are also firm.

Sounds like a hotel and would fall under the innkeeper laws of your state.You should have zero evictions since you would be collecting the tab upfront for the week

There are several different sites devoted to Innkeepers, etc.

Past that you need to do something different such as an inn keepers license, sprinklers, extinguishers, and exit signs.

I attempted to solicit a hospitality college student to act as our inn-keeper without success.
