@Scott Bennett a lot of my friends in NH always laughed at me for owning property in "MA" because it's so easy to evict in New Hampshire compared to Massachusetts.However this past Spring I spent a half dozen sessions in the Court on Spring Street in Nashua and learned:that it is easier and quicker to Evict in NHHowever if they Appeal, it goes to the State Supreme Court which can take 6 months or more.I'd get an Attorney familiar with Evictions and RE Law.

From the surface it seems great but now that the program has officially rolled out and everyone is trying to get a piece of the $300MM, it is like black Friday at Best buy.As of March 30th, 2023 I am hearing crazy stories; you cannot get your one on one counseling session until April 15th and that will only get pushed out more and more.

My tenant wanted to have a mediator involved but I refused it after I found out there would be a multi session procession and first one needs to be three hours long - I did not want to request a half day off of my work.I emailed my tenant today and gave them three options - either they pay the fee, they don't pay and I'll start an eviction process and civil lawful for the money, or sign a new contract that they will leave 2 months earlier than the original contract so I can keep their 2 months deposit.
