Hello everyone.It might not be exact place to ask this type of question, but I really believe that a lot people from this forum have an experience with that, so you can help.I have rental duplex with downtown view (located in San Diego), and back doors of this unit leads to balcony\patio with that view.

Are there any features that should be included to draw additional value (social areas/patios, bike racks, permanent grills)?

If the pipes are not yet collapsed they will shoot epoxy in the lines creating a plastic system inside the cast iron.  

The second estimate that was provided in July 11, 2012 indicated that the house would have to be lifted, and demo the front patio, side stoop and asphalt pavement as required.

Both homes are much nicer, all have 3BD (Mine is a 2+1den), slightly bigger lot, nicer floors, painted walls, landscape and the most recent one that closed even had a tile cover patio.

So wrapping them in duct tape is not my optimal solution.I am willing to get a hepa mask and suit up and attempt to do the work myself but I am a littel hesitant as I have not dealt with this before and not even sure if I am legally allowed to.It is an unfinished basement that is empty except for the boiler and washer/dryer so maybe if I put plastic and seal off the entrance to upstairs wet the asbestos and remove/double bag it it is doable.
