haha.I feel like they made themselves easy targets (in the similar vein of not policing crime, not incarcerating prisoners, giving away boxes of hypodermic needles but not allowing straws, allowing rampant homelessness, etc.) with onerous laws against the little guy, but you appear to feel like they were unfairly victimized.

@Matthew Kwan@Carlos Valencia I lived all my life in Seattle and recently sold all of our properties because of the erratic behavior of the government, high taxes, homelessness, drugs, crime, disdain for landlords, and so on.I'd rather have hurricanes than invest in Seattle so we moved to Scottsdale where there are no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no volcanoes, taxes are low, profits are high, government is reasonable, crime is low, weather is good, world class restaurants & resorts, golfing is king and I get palm trees and saguaro cacti.Don't let the hype about Seattle fool you.

First, a bunch of people are devastated and end up stepping down in their ability to afford housing - so a lot of C/D people end up homeless or sharing facilities with others, while former A/B people end up down in B/C/D housing.
