I believe at one point this triplex was a single family home, so it had 1 oil tank servicing the heater for all 3 units- yikes.

A lot of lake/cabin type of areas are also close to snow mobiling, skiing, ice fishing, etc.Either way, I would definitely recommend putting a small heater in the crawl space where you are worried.
