Yes the food business can make you a lot of money but it is not for the faint of heart and like anything you have to buy right.I have decades of experience and I see people all the time spend 250k to build out a franchise store to make a net profit of 40k to the first year.

I love this thread it is informative and light hearted, really good reading. 

She's new in the game, but she's family and has my best interest at heart. 

I did that at 18.. made my first sale a few months later made 600.00 commish when the best I could do bagging groceries was 1.65 an hour ( which was a lot in 1975) Never looked back  RE has treated me well and it has also sent some daggers in my heart as well.

This is not for the faint of heart but with reasonable phone screening it works good.

This is not a game for the feint of heart.  

I had a change of heart and now I've decided not to be nasty and just give the money back and move on to another renter.

Nice guy; things went to heck when his spouse suddenly left and he had a flare up of his childhood heart issues (the reason he worked in cardiology); his mother moved in to help him out. 

I can say that I've sold all of my out of state stuff and if I had to do it over again, I would've stayed local.The issue is not so much really whether Atlanta as a whole is a "good" market or not ... the issue is that you will be giving up nearly 100% control over your investment to others, and others may not be competent and/or have your best interests at heart.

Is buy that in a heart beat if it was in my target area.
