Pissed bc I’m finishing up three triplexes and just discovered the city is putting up 60 PHA housing units directly behind me with private parking, gym facilities, etc....totally ridiculous that you can have the amenities most other hard working people don’t have in the city while being encouraged not to work

I have an opportunity to purchase a class A self storage facility in the Midwest that's 85% occupied for $11,200/unit. 20% of the units are climate controlled.

I just bought my first storage facility, located by cold-calling facilities in the area and just asking if they would consider selling.

Zoning denied the purchase of a 19 bed property that was previously used as an assisted living facility for the following reasons:1.

Anyone can cook but that doesn’t make them a gourmet chief (or even a fry cook) and unless they have put thousands of hours into of effective relevant work and have a good sense of taste and understand what others want then they will not be able to maximize the results.

I usually buy some big containers of water for drinking, cooking, or even flushing the toilet.
