I really think how long it lasts depends on a few factors, mainly how it is cared for, (assuming the  re glaze was done correctly) as Ryan Monier stated using harsh chemicals will definitely accelerate the life expectancy of the finish, as lets face it while it is a great option, you still cannot compare it to  factory baked on finish.

Your controlling factor is what is still owed on the house - if she's already cashed out before and still owes 50, no one can make any money on this house and she'll have to sell it to someone who wants to live in it or rent it out as-is.
