Here's a trick that works every time.When the tenant opens their mouth and starts giving you their excuse as to why the rent is late just overlap it in your head with the Charlie Brown "adults talking" voice.

I've been liking the light browns/tans with a greenish/avocado like color trim, perhaps some castle blocks rounding the front with flowers behind them..

Reflect the color you use somewhere else in the house, maybe stain the brown doors or trim the same color.

Brown signed, my tenant gets a notice about sprinkler overrun hitting the sidewalk and watering on the wrong day.I've been phasing in my xeriscaping for a while now.

So I used this:http://www.glidden.com/Color/Paint-Colors/Browns-B...And while I do think it is a good idea to use the same colors in all my units, I am occasionally impulsive and I did a kitchen with this color once, just because I liked it:http://www.glidden.com/Color/Paint-Colors/Greens/1...It's not as dark in the large, well-lit kitchen as it seems on my screen.
