That is a tough question to answer depending on where you are looking to ultimately invest. 

However, it's puzzling in the context of all the other tax-advantaged options that provide a parallel "foundation for real estate investing" offers, which is, ultimately, the stated purpose/title of this entire thread. 

Ultimately whichever way you choose it seems like you're going to take some monetary hit in some way.

I listen to the podcast on a regular basis and this had boost my desire to take action so here I am.

Do you care to share your experiences with the VA system and would you mind sharing which agency you ultimately went with and found the most success?

I had a buddy who invested in Orange because of the cashflow but he ultimately got out due to high vacancy rates and less than desirable appreciation. 

And this is on top of the Government’s announced plans earlier this year to boost spending and demand for homes.
