We've been looking at some resort towns up in Michigan as well so it puts my mind at ease that OOS STR investing isn't too big of a challenge.

Hello,My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a short term rental property near a ski resort in Colorado.  

I'm asking because I have found a few properties close to ski resorts and lakes and some of the communities do not offer summer amenities to guests or owners - would that limit the potential interest from guests or does it not matter too much?

General Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Florida, Sea World, Gatorland, and Wet n' Wild call Orlando home too, however there's something else to the city than simply amusement parks.

The farther West you go, the cheaper in is generally, with the exception of Ko'Olina resort, and there can be a lot more traffic depending on the time of day.
