Maybe he's saying dig out the slab entirely and then repour the new one inside the footers (so the top of the slab is flush with the top of the footer)...?

Since this is a flagged hotel, you might want to review the franchise agreement to check the remaining term and flush out any potential PIP (Property Improvement Plan) that Holiday Inn may be requiring.  

I think rates will actually have a pretty narrow range in the 6-7% range most of the year, I also think many people are overestimating the MBs spreads narrowing, so much of the MBs spreads being so low this last decade was q/e and banks being relatively flush.

Water is all over the floor, toilets wont flush right , showers and sinks dont drain really and it smells badI feel like not fixing this because they owe me so much money and just want them gone.

The water heater went, the stove failed, the washer/dryer broke, a root grew into the sewer line and backed up pressure so that the cap blew off the sewer pipe in the crawl space, so we were flushing everything into the crawlspace......expensive clean up! 

I have see a miter edge beveled in a way that it is more flush together then secured with adhesive...

I recently read that in Portugal it's commonplace for people not to be able to flush TP down the toilet as their sewer infrastructure is inferior - they have to discard TP in bins.
