Contractors.

Heating costs go up in winter, as does electricity due to the reduced natural light and more people indoors.

Do you look for an acre with city water and electricity and build on that or do you put in your own?  

Schedule a second walk-thru when you are serious about a property and bring along someone experienced or a contractor to look over the property.

My main questions:Should I hire a general contractor to manage the entire renovation, or would it be better to hire specialized contractors for each part of the project (flooring, paint, HVAC, etc.)?

However, every time my contractor submits the applications, the city requests new revisions.

Through this flip I have had break ins, I have had contractors cheat me and pull knives on me, one of them hit my dog in the face with a drill.

Does anyone know a trustworthy general contractor in Toledo OH area they can recommend?
