OFfer to take vehicles to a scrap yard, or show them how to donate the car and get tax benefits, tell them where a junkyard is where they can get money for parts, etc.not your responsibility,but it will be your gain in the end!

And remember if you can save some of the appliances in the home that are included with the purchase you can donate them and have a tax write off at the end of the year.
