We do not live in a "destination location" per say.Do these numbers work? 

Basically it was my signal that once they put in 75,000 new homes (bringing what, 150,000 new people to town), that Knightsville is destined to become a town I just don't want to be a part of any longer.

So my strategy (my “How”) did not align with my goals (my “Why”).. and this was disastrous for me.Focus on the goal end destination.

Hey everyone, I am on the hunt for a live in flip in the Fort Walton Beach and Destin areas with a two car garage.

My fear is that if I bought my first property today, I would be buying at the peak of a housing market destined to take a tumble in the next year or so and I would be stuck with an asset that might take many years to appreciate back up to its purchasing value or worse, never make it back to that value at all.

Other than it being a tourists destination, it's kind of a small town.

We just returned from our 56th cruise up the coast of Norway on what they call the mail boat.

Some of the reasons I've invested in the Smokies are: A) it's withstood the test of time as a vacation destination, having been popular longer than I've been alive; B) it's a drive-to destination, not a fly-to one, making it more accessible to people from a variety of financial backgrounds; and C) it's an affordable destination, so it's less likely to feel a big squeeze during recession than a high priced market might.  

What road do you think would help me arrive to my destination?

Outside of that people from LA and SD come all of the time, family reunion, bachelor party, general vacation.........its a quick drive to a recognized vacation destination so people can get out of the city and hang by the pool.
