And they're not all "how i got rich quick in RE" type stories either - they're real life stories.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to start investing, but doesn't really know how to do that, or what to go after...This is perfect for those folks, and it's a pleasant simple, entertaining read that definately won't put you to sleep!

Rich, Jason and Mike, What methods are you using to find the people who need to sell.

I have no illusions about instant RE riches, but I would like to be able to make a living at it.I've scheduled the past few months as my RE education period.

You can certainly find those deals, but the competition involves rich daddies buying property for their little angels, as well as 'investors' still betting on appreciation and willing to take on zero to negative cash flow.But I like my college rentals, and am closing on another today.

She never wants to move, because this is not your typical section 8 house, and she can now live with the "RICH" people..So that worked out well so far. 2 months ago I purchaced another house via a REO..I got a good deal on it..Payed 80k and the house across the street sold last week for 128.Here is where it gets interresting..I helped a lady who is 36 w/7 kids move from not so nice an area, to this house, which is a fairly nice area.

This isn't a get-rich-quick business.

Only in guru fantasy land do people start broke and with bad credit and work only a few hours a week while they get rich!

I'm watching you get rich on oil while I spend $60 to fill my car.
