With the hydrogen bomb and missile threat and instability in the administration I am surprised many think everything is going well.

2) I seem to have read somewhere where an attorney can set up a separation of property, present it to the judge to get a judgement, then show the judgement to the employer's stock administrator to get 90% of the funds out for self directed investment where your spouse is the custodian.

Not an overly common business arrangement as no matter what capital contribution or administrative contribution is made the ownership equity is always 50/50.

My partner is an attorney and the ONLY time I let homeowners know that is if there's a legal matter in regards to getting the property contracted (i.e. probate-affidavits of heirship, independent administration, etc.)

That's funny - my brother started as a business administration major, and then he switched to economics because he loved it.
