But, one should not buy into the hype that rentals are "passive income" They aren't as active as a full time job, but when the work is needed, it's needed "now", and having a buffer to handle the unexpected costs is essential.

There are hybrid brokerages that have quality CRms, help you learn to invest, have great support, help you set up your own LLC...you know...succeed. forget the hype, big box brokerages are robber barrons in my opinion.
