He is highly experienced in real estate (did many of the Las Vegas casino deals), asset protection and estate planning.  

IMHO, the 50% rule and rentals (and investing in general) can be analyzed just like a casino game.

Trump does admit real estate is an appreciation business and claims 9 billion out of 10 billion is free and clear so he just might be right...well not might be:) He says he bought casinos for cash flow.

Anyone who has ever been to a casino knows that the house only needs a small edge to turn a profit.

They talked a lot about the success of the McDonalds franchise at greater than 90% but I wonder if their franchise-like product boasts the same.

Before the housing boom, it was nothing more than a farming community with an Indian Casino.

Today it boasts of a multi million dollar rec center, golf course, multiple swimming pools and a development filled to capacity with MH's from 400-600k and a lot of very happy resident/owners.Don't get branded as a price gouging owner/manager.

A scene in the movie "Casino" comes to mind when Robert DeNiro's character has to fire a manager after 3 slot machines simultaneously hit the jackpot and the manger did nothing.

But, again, most of our homes are in unincorporated Clark County and the hotels and casinos do not want the competition.

I can see there are very affordable home in Springfield and a new Casino in town as well.
