Combine that with a lack of cash flow and this is a losing proposition.The price-to-income ratio is already in excess of 13 so you have to ask yourself how are prices going to triple or quadruple in 20 years?

almost no cash flow, but the tenant paid for the condo, zero $$$ from our pocket. my story is a little long, but with the promotion and "rent" we were able to buy 2 more properties @ 20% down-payment. a LIVE in FLIP and a commercial Triple Net Lease.By the time we moved again for job promotion, this is now yr 10.

The City is doing a lot over the next couple years to better that area and in 5-10 years, I predict something like a triple in investments there, but as far as living there now, and with a family, that's entirely up to you.
