As far as his license is concerned, not all area require a license for heating, so people might be misunderstanding this, a license is required to work with the refrigerant gases used in Air Conditioning systems.  

In Orange County, sellers don't supply refrigerator or washer/dryer.

I think people need a refrigerator and microwave at a minimum.

Personal property are things such as the stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, floor coverings, etc. 

If he said he needed free food for 6 weeks would the judge require the grocery store to stock his refrigerator at no cost to him for 4 weeks?
