I tried to find renters through the university (grad students), but I did learn how to deal with Craigslist callers and to pre-screen them so I didn't end up showing to a bunch of people that wouldn't be qualified.Plus, wherever you get your tenants, it's up to you to screen them.If your tenant pool uses Zillow, though, that's the way to go, for sure.Interestingly enough, I would get calls from people who saw ads on Zillow about the units I was renting - and I'd never put them there lol.  

During your conversation you ask if the caller has any children.  

I know it would be easy, and frankly, I'm not going to live the paranoid life where I hide from folks just because they may be crazy.I do want to be somewhat isolated from the torrent of inquiries and pesky annoyance callers.  

Well, sure enough, I got a prank call. 

If they leave a message, then an email is sent to me with that recording.What I don't know how to do:(1) when I return the call, I want them to see the 2nd phone number as the one that shows up on their caller id? 

They need to bill the caller, then it is the caller's responsibility to bill whoever the responsible party is to them (tenant to landlord in some cases).

I’m thinking I can teach 10 questions better than I will ever be able to teach embedded commands, mimicking, pacing, positive and negative reinforcements and the like.ANd if I can train someone from India half way accross the world to screen callers the job is 1/3 accomplished..

If Yellows then you'll need less of a number count however yellows tend to be a nightmare for some new investors as things like answering the calls, dealing with unmotivated callers and the busy work becomes unproductive.Personally I like a mix...

I have a caller on it but our list building is such a tedious process for me and I don't have the time
