My concern there would be having to refi out of that balloon in a year or two at 8 or 9% +.If you can afford it, you may want to lock in the longest fixed term you can.

If explanation didn't pass muster or the timeline did not meet statutory requirements, the company faced possible penalties up to and including withdrawal of its Certificate of Approval to do business in that state and I'd be having a conversation with the powers that be about my actions.
