Commit to the process of becoming a regular Pittsburgh investor, hang out here on BP with the Pittsburghers, study the city, its history, its culture, and its strangeness, and eventually you will be richly rewarded.

After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad (I know - the cliche starting point for all of us), reading a few more books, listening through the first 70 Bigger Pockets podcasts all in the last 4 months I put an offer in and bought my first investment.

Definitely not a way to get rich quick....but possibly a way to get your feet wet in RE investing.

Research about other investments led me to "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and changed my perspective completely.

Rich - I have a few buyers that are paying cash for such buildings.

Rich dad poor dad book has a very similar situation with a condo.

And bought the books Rich dad poor dad and the rental property investing.

In April 2018, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad after running the numbers and realizing we would never reach financial independence with our current rate of active income.
