This is especially true in one of the markets I work in (Minneapolis). 

.- Why do people prefer Minneapolis as compared to St Paul?

Main questions are cost-benefit to renting in the winter, and what it is like trying to find resources for cleaning, snow removal, and repairs in that area as we live in the Minneapolis area.   

I'm currently a apprentice at a energy plant in downtown Minneapolis, and have also acquired a boilers license in the process (IT classes going into Cyber Security as well).

I'm still finding deals on the MLS above the 1% rule in Minneapolis and am just curious who else in other areas is also still meeting this standard?
