Roofs have been a hot  button the last 18 months or so with the insurance carriers .  

If the PML is asking for "Loan Protection Insurance", ask who that carrier is and why it is different from other security instruments that are well known to the legal community and well defined in state statute.

You can file direct to the insurance carrier if their property caused damage to your property.

A few favors early on in your carrier can add up to a lot of value in the long run if you plan on being in the game for an extended time.

We have also used mail carriers as bird-dogs to tip us off on any empty properties, or ones that look like someone is moving / away for a prolonged period.
