Happy to share some resources for that. 

So they should be willing to share value if they can’t get a loan. 

I'd start by just talking to them, asking if they'd help share the cost 50/50.

And, if you're not in a position to do that, get advice from or work with people who are.There are shady people everywhere and Mexico has its share of those.
