The idea that because some people don't like something (STRs) that makes it "immoral" is modern snowflake morality.

Personally think if the property was fixed up and modernized, it would limit complaints and issues, but not sure.

The answer to that question can only be determined on a house-by-house basis;  i.e. how well has the current owner taken care of the property or what kind of investment are you willing to make to get a property up to modern-day codes? 

I stuck to the modern theme - replacing light fixtures from Amazon, peel & stick flooring in the kitchen, and adding a fresh coat of paint on the cabinets and walls.

The black and white modern farmhouse styled mobile home is freshly painted outside and pops with a Caribbean blue double door that opens up to a spacious 1100 sq ft of interior living space.

Like, how can we really be sure a Buyer puts a higher value on a modern Quartz countertop more than another solid surface countertop, such as granite.

Debit cards are modern.

Installing new light fixtures (and then over time installing recessed lights and really making the units modern).

Any modern faucet has low flow aerator.
