Some is, some isn't - so If you're serious about getting "creative", you really need to come up with a solid biz plan and consult with an attorney who can help you to put yourself in a defendable position with whatever strategy you come up with / engage in.

As an ex-NFL player, you probably have a great network of high net worth people, it might be a great opportunity to syndicate a deal, bringing in investors with you.

He can tell you strengths and weaknesses of almost every player or team from any era!!

With new announcement from major corporate players occurring almost monthly, I anticipate this growth to continue at least through 2019.

Drive around and look for new commercial construction, etc..You can probably google major employers and get a sense of who the big players are in the area and what kind of local market share each major company holds.
