@Agyei Axum i have been renting by the room for the last 7 years. that is actually all that i do. i would strongly suggest doing that in your case to boost cash flow in your expensive market. i would find comparables in order to price effectively.

According to RS Means national pricing list, Alabama is close to the National Average if not a little cheaper.There are also a number of factors that can influence costs, but the pricing assumes a 3 bed, 2 bath 1,500sf average grade rehab.

They both boost lead generation with a small fee to get in but a several hundred dollars for setup not including the cost of each of your marketing campaigns (especially if you are using mail).

For my wife and I the key frugality has been:-we drive inexpensive cars (Yaris, Escape, both older and used)-RARELY eat out at restaurants-one vacation per year- and it's camping within a day's drive from home (and we already have the gear)-small affordable home (bought in 2012 at the bottom of the market- that was just lucky timing)-0 use of credit cards-and hard work to boost earnings That last one isn't so much frugality- but has been the biggest key to saving for us.
