Has the cost of wood/material decreased?

A county assessor increased the value to 600k.Here is my question.Let`s say I am buying a property with an assessed value of 1 million for 600k.Will a county assessor decrease/make reduction of the assessed value?

That being said; we did not have any crazy rent increases either (2%-3% maybe) and your insurance and other expenses are consistently increasing each year at a rate higher than that.I do not think rents will decrease but I would make sure that you are using accurate rental comps when you are setting your rents or underwriting a deal and verifying the rental amounts you are being told are accurate.

The month of June 2021 saw an increase in number of homes sold, an increase in median price and a decrease in DOM in comparison to May of 2021.

The bedrooms below grade would definitely decrease the overall value of the home due to the fact it is less desirable.  

Does the house have a suite or could you rent a room to decrease your living costs (the latter depends on if you'd want a roommate and not everyone does).
