I'm wondering if the market is softening in Houston Texas.Fair warning: I'm new to analyzing.

We are a community player and the utility service gets paid.For utilities that can become a lien on the property if not paid, the utility company sends us copies of the tenant bill, notification if a tenant account is past due and warns us if the account is in danger of utility shut off.

I have been researching REI over the past year and have ran into a few nay sayers warning me of the risks that come with investing in real estate.  

I will heed your warning!!

I will never forget my father kicking a contractor off the property for failing to close the gate after multiple warnings. 

Regarding your warnings about buying too high, I get it.  

I was looking into working on a wholesale deal earlier in the year and was warned by a fellow local investor that if you don't perform the wholesale deal properly, you can be breaking the law in Ohio.
