I am integrating 3 state of the art studios as well as room for a venue/clothing shop.

I owned a Co op once in Greenwich Village in New York and there was one old wood window in the studio apartment I owned with a broken window.  

They are really cheap (slightly over 20.00 each) on Amazon. 

I got these when I started - Foremost "Mobile Home Fix-It Guide" and John Krigger "Your Mobile Home" both avail on Amazon.

I keep seeing books on amazon but I do want to hear the graceful opinions of the people here and not from rigged reviewers.

They run specials for $199 for the class and materials on the coupon sites like Amazon deals and Living Social. 

My home in Pearl City is appraised in the mid $700s...2000sqft, 3/3/2 with studio extension...so I realize that my house is not the normal single family home...but I did buy in early 2000s so my entry price was low like yours.
