I believe that most people, unless they are talented at being an elite investor, should just be an LP role in a syndication due to the scalability and being able to spread their capital across different leads, business plans, asset classes, and geographical locations.

I know that wont be scalable but since it would only be for the two tenants now, with differing prices of rent, I thought it might work until I am able to get a different level of tenant in there.Any advice or input is greatly appreciated!

@Eve OliverIf you are small time, picking up rent may work but it's not very scalable nor is it very efficient.

I invest here on Maui and have been lucky to pull of 20-25% COC returns (although that’s probably not scalable here) mostly by getting some really good deals in a very low priced condo.
