I had the roughest year of my life this year was diagnosed with cancer was treated with chemo, wife got totalled car accident in my paid off car, had a baby during the process, I had a major neck surgery, and a major surgery in my abdomen but now it's time to get back.

You should also be aware of what plasticizers were uses to make the products as that has become an issue (CNN had a big article about Home Depot's removing a certain one by the end of 2015).Finally yes there are other options but they all have their pros and cons; Ceramic has weight issues but is very durable, Wood in a rental (GOD FORBID, unless you're good at refinishing the stuff every time a tenant moves out, hiring it done is more money out of your pocket) is not something I'd recommend unless this is a high dollar real unit.

In NH, a Certified Renovator (someone with the RRP certificate like I have) can scrape lead paint if the proper procedures are being utilized (signs, plastic, HEPA vacs, shrouds for power tools, wet-scraping only in HUD properties, proper documentation, etc), and you do not have to be a licensed "deleader".

These didn't have dampers in place so we just took some type of thick plastic material and taped it into the top inside of the fireplace, then painted the inside all black.Another newer duplex we own has nice fireplaces with motorized vent fans installed.

One hole had a plug, one hole had the lamp socket, and one hole had the photocell.There is another one that's designed to poke through a single hole in the middle of a box cover plate; a plastic nut screws down to hold it in.

Open up another outlet down the line and see how many ground wires are in them. you should have 3 if its in a metal box. 2 if its plastic.
