I thought $500-600 for a full steam clean in an empty house and normal wear and tear.

Even though carpets are professionally steam cleaned between tenants it is not unusual for someone who does not have a pet to walk in and comment about a pet odor (and this does not have to be from animal "accidents"; but simply from a pet living in the area.)Ironically I do animal rescue myself (cats and dogs) so no carpet in my house! 

We are leaving a farming operation in Iowa and going into this full steam ahead.

Aparrently, the day before I got into Wholesaling full steam was the day of the last meeting!

The moisture from the dishwasher steam is causing the particle board to beeakndown.

He just did an 8 unit boiler and the total cost was $23k.Also, a big determining factor is whether the boiler is hot water or steam.

The building had been converted from steam boiler to forced air, and of course none of the contractors thought about one of the basements where there were no furnaces.... we installed electric baseboard here and it has been a perfect solution.
