Don't be cheap - I personally went into the real investing space with a scarcity mindset and trying to maximize profit at all costs. 

When I typed in Google the title company and address, the building space is listed as vacant on Loopnet.With reporting this to the FBI, I'm guessing this is under Internet-Based Fraud or something else? 

The other electric meter I pay for because it feeds 2 units (the first floor and basement).1)Would this be a good investment with worthwhile tax benefits?

Another option to consider is using the space for Airbnb or mid-term rentals.Here in Texas, basements aren't common, but I found a home where the third bedroom had its own entrance right off the driveway.
